Legal
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your engagement of coaching services from Paula Creations (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a service, submitting the contact form, or paying an invoice, you accept these Terms.
Paula Creations is a career-coaching service based in Kenya. [If registered] Business registration number: [registration number]. Registered address: [Your address]. Contact: training@paulacreations.co.ke.
We provide career-coaching services including CV and LinkedIn review, 1:1 coaching, interview preparation, and career-strategy work. Scope and deliverables are agreed per engagement in writing (email or contract).
Refund eligibility depends on the service: single sessions are refundable if cancelled before the session begins (subject to clause 5); multi-session packages are refundable on a pro-rata basis for unused sessions, less a 10% administrative fee.
All frameworks, templates, materials, and methodologies we share remain our intellectual property. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your personal career benefit. You may not resell, sub-licence, or publicly publish our materials without written permission.
What you share with us stays between us. We do not disclose client information, career details, or session content to any third party without your written consent, except where legally compelled.
Coaching is a collaborative service. While we bring experience, insight, and accountability, career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control (market conditions, your effort, the decisions of employers). We do not guarantee any specific job offer, salary, promotion, or career outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any engagement shall not exceed the total fees you have paid us in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or speculative losses (including lost income, lost opportunity, or emotional distress).
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
Either party may terminate an engagement by written notice. Amounts payable for work already delivered remain due. Clauses 8 (Intellectual property), 9 (Confidentiality), and 11 (Limitation of liability) survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion. Unresolved disputes will be referred to the courts of Kenya, or to arbitration in Nairobi under the Nyanza Court of Arbitration rules if both parties agree in writing.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published at this URL.
